TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
